Air Canada - Business class services
Air Canada is Canada's largest airline and together with its regional partner Jazz, serves over 32 million customers annually to over 170 destinations on five continents including North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Australasia.
Air Canada's predecessor, Trans Canada Air Lines (TCA), flew their inaugural flight in 1937 carrying two passengers and mail between Vancouver and Seattle. By 1964, TCA became Air Canada and Canada's national airline. Air Canada was fully privatised in 1989 and in 2000, acquired Canadian Airlines International. A founder member of the Star Alliance, Air Canada is currently the 14th largest commercial airline in the world.
Business Class – Executive First
Air Canada is currently revamping their entire fleet to provide their new ‘Executive First Suites’ in all of their Executive First Cabins.
Presently, Air Canada’s Boeing 777-200, 777-300 and some of their Boeing 767-300 aircraft have been refitted with luxurious seats which recline into a 6 foot 3 inch lie-flat bed with a 180 degree recline and a seat width of 21 inches (31 inches wide at the shoulders). Passengers have direct access to the aisle, adjustable head and footrests, a workstation area with personal reading light and storage, in-seat laptop power and an individual 12 inch touch-screen video monitor with an extensive selection of on-demand entertainment. Other amenities onboard include a selection of premium newspapers and magazines, a complimentary amenity kit, dedicated washrooms and a self-serve bar on the new 777 aircraft.
On-board dining in Executive First is characterised by attentive service, beautiful presentation and a selection of sumptuous meals prepared using the freshest ingredients. Air Canada’s acclaimed wine cellar is personally selected by world-renowned wine expert Ken Chase and includes champagne, Old and New World red & white wines, Canadian wines and Late Bottled Vintage Port.
